Fees and Registration

Dates of the 2010 camp: the 51st annual Ohsawa-style camp will be held at French Meadows from Saturday, July 17 to Sunday, July 25, 2010 with early arrival for staff on Friday, July 16 at 1:00 pm.

Normal registration begins Saturday, July 17 at 9:00 AM. Camp officially begins with lunch on Saturday, July 17.

Camp Fees (U.S. funds only): Come to camp for the full eight days (Full Camp fee for Saturday, July 17 through Sunday, July 25, 2010), or for a partial stay (fee calculated using the Day fee). The Full Camp fee includes all meals for the eight days; the partial stay fee includes all meals during the period of time paid for.

Special Price for Full Payment by December 1, 2009:
  • G.O.M.F. Members: $690
  • Non-members: $790
  • Youth (3 to 18): $400
  • Babies (under 3 years): call before registering
Membership in the George Ohsawa Macrobiotic Foundation (G.O.M.F.) is $35 for U.S. addresses and $45 for elsewhere. See details on joining below.

Full Payment Discounts:
  • by April 1, 2010 - deduct 15%

Discount for Members of the George Ohsawa Macrobiotic Foundation: Join now and benefit from the members' discount at camp; you may include your membership fee along with your camp fees. Membership costs $35 per year U.S. and $45 elsewhere, and includes a 10% discount on books and a subscription to Macrobiotics Today magazine. Discounts apply to all members of your immediate family.

Camp Policies: Before deciding to come to camp, please review the Camp Policies. If you have any questions, it is best to ask before driving all the way to camp.

9-Day Camp--Early Arrival: Those who want a 9-day camp are welcome to come on Friday, July 16 after 1:00 pm and help set up camp or pay an additional fee of $50. This help requirement or fee is waived for those arriving via the van service on Friday.

Reservations: Full payment or a deposit of $100.00 per person is required to reserve a space. Balance is due by July 1, 2010 (note discounts for full payment) or upon arrival at camp. If it should become necessary for you to cancel your reservation, see below for cancellation charges.

Cancellation Charges, per person:
  • Until April 30, 2010: $50
  • May 1 to May 31, 2010: $100
  • After May 31, 2010 and at camp: no refund; however, any amount over $100 will be kept on account and may be used at future French Meadows camps.
