Fees and Registration

Camp Fees (U.S. funds only): Come to camp for the full nine days (Full Camp fee for Friday, July 11 through Sunday, July 20, 2008), or for a partial stay (fee calculated using the Day fee). The Full Camp fee includes all meals for the nine days; the partial stay fee includes all meals during the period of time paid for.

Members of the George Ohsawa Macrobiotic Foundation (G.O.M.F.) qualify for a discount, see details on joining below.

Full payment before camp qualifies for a discount as follows:
  • by May 1 - deduct 15%
  • by June 1 - deduct 10%
  • by July 1 - deduct 5%

Discount for Members of the George Ohsawa Macrobiotic Foundation: Join now and benefit from the members' discount at camp; you may include your membership fee along with your camp fees. Membership costs $35 per year U.S. and $45 elsewhere, and includes a 10% discount on books and a subscription to Macrobiotics Today magazine. Discounts apply to all members of your immediate family.

Camp Policies: Before deciding to come to camp, please review the Camp Policies. If you have any questions, it is best to ask before driving all the way to camp.

Arrival Time and Early Arrival Fee: Normal registration begins Friday, July 11 at 9:00 AM. Camp officially begins with lunch on Friday, July 11.

10- or 11- Day Camp--Early Arrival: Those who want a 10- or 11- day camp are welcome to come on Wednesday, July 9 after 1:00 pm. Extra fees may apply as described below:
  • Wednesday July 9, 1:00 PM or after, or Thursday July 10, will help set up camp (+$0)
  • Wednesday July 9, 1:00 PM or after (+$75)
  • Thursday July 10 (+$50, but does not apply to those arriving by Van Service)

Reservations: Full payment or a non-refundable deposit of $100.00 per adult and $50.00 per youth (aged three through sixteen) is required to reserve a space. Balance is due by July 1, 2008 (note discounts for full payment) or upon arrival at camp.

Cancellation Charges, per person:
  • Until April 30, 2008: $50
  • May 1 to June 30, 2008: $100
  • After June 30, 2008 and at camp: no refund; however, any amount over $100 will be kept on account and may be used at future French Meadows camps.
